Rudy Mercado - Scenic Artist - Spanish Movie Industry, Madrid

Rudy relocated to Madrid, Spain 9 years ago.  He's been dedicated to working in the Spanish Film Industry as a scenic artist, doing everything from Romanesque frescoes to portraits and "Mondrians".  His credits include "Goya", "Entre las piernas", "Mas alla del jardin", "Cachito", and "Ruby".

Rudy has been involved in creating historic dioramas since he was a child.  This recent piece is titled "La Noche Triste" and is dedicated to his father, who died in 1998.  It's a battle from the Spanish conquest of Mexico.  During the progress of the diorama, a film was made and was sold to Spanish TV.
