Kim Berry, RHS 1980
Kim Berry-Carroll Today

Kim Berry Carroll  -  Painter

Kim graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Illustration, Medical Illustration, and Biology in 1985.  She practiced Illustration for a period but after deciding that Fine Art was the right direction, she continued her Graduate work at Claremont Graduate School and received a Master's Degree in Painting 1990.  Kim worked her way though college doing substitute teaching and acknowledges "...how difficult it is to teach kids."  Since graduation Kim has been a visiting artist/teacher for the "Artists in Schools Program" in the Fullerton School District, worked as a freelance mural artist, created public art, served as co-director, Gallery by the Sea in San Pedro, and was art director of the AFI award winning short film "the Secret of Easter Island".    Her work has been included in numerous local and national shows.
